Last updated: June 2026
Westhird ("Westhird," "we," "us," or "our") is a marketing agency serving small businesses across the United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit westhird.com or work with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit a form, request a free audit, or email us, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, website URL, and anything you include in your message.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our site, we may automatically collect standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring pages. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies, and only enable analytics cookies after you consent (see Section 4).
Client account information
If we set up a client account for you, we store your email address and a securely hashed password (we never see your actual password), along with your project details, the status updates and milestones we post, any messages you exchange with us in the portal, your billing status, and any files shared through your account.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and prepare quotes or free audits.
- To provide, maintain, and improve our services.
- To send you information related to a project or service you requested.
- To understand how our site is used so we can improve it.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed. These may include:
- Supabase: hosts our database and powers client accounts, project tracking, messages, and lead storage.
- Formspree: processes our contact and audit form submissions.
- Stripe: handles billing, invoices, and client payments.
- Resend: delivers account and transactional emails, such as password resets and client notifications.
- Google Analytics: provides website usage analytics (only after consent).
- Our hosting and email providers: deliver the site and our communications.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Westhird, our clients, or others.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies to keep the site working and, with your consent, to understand how it is used. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. We use Google Consent Mode, which means Google Analytics does not store analytics cookies or collect analytics data until you click "Accept." If you click "Decline," analytics stays off. You can change your mind by clearing your browser's site data, which will show the banner again.
5. Data retention
We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to you, deliver our services, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing. Residents of states such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia may have additional rights under their state privacy laws, including the right to know what we collect and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To make a request, email contact@westhird.com and we will respond as required by law.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to safeguard the data you share with us.
8. Children's privacy
Our site and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party websites or tools. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
10. Changes to this policy
